Virtual & Online Doodle Courses
Doodling is not an artistic process. Doodling is thinking.
I work with stressed out teachers who have NO TIME to engage in self-care to strengthen their minds, nurture their hearts, and boost their creativity through doodling without worrying about creating perfect art. Repeated and combined lines are great tools for positive brain training, giving a platform for thoughts, ideas, and emotions to be processed and shared.
Tickle your curiosity and your creativity with this fun Doodle Sampler. There are so many ways to doodle – find the one that feels the most comfortable to you so you can strengthen your mind, nurture your heart, and boost your creativity!
Featured Programs for Self-care
Participants in these courses are first-time doodlers or seasoned artists. Just like going to the gym to exercise, there is value in revisiting the content in the courses and doodling frequently. Any doodling is good doodling – let go of outcomes, focus on the process. Doodling is a healthy way of putting “Created to Create” to practice.
Ask about privately scheduled group classes with discounted group rates.
Time Out for Teachers
Take some time out . . . away from the noise, negativity, and nonsense that fills other online spaces. In TO4T, you can enjoy creative inspiration, prompts, and ideas. Browse them alone, or engage with other positive, like-minded FUN professionals who embrace #createdtocreate and #processoverproduct. Where non-artists and artists alike can create and share not only our creativity, but our lives that are positively impacted by our creativity.
Neurographic Art
Enjoy a relaxing, guided process to help you connect with and process your thoughts and feelings and gain direction by taking control of the design. This class is a non-talking therapeutic process that helps you connect with and resolve any negative or challenging thought patterns. The class is scheduled periodically but is a great private event option. Ask for group scheduling and rates.
Why Doodle?
We were created to create. Doodling is our earliest method of written communication, but we trade it for a less natural, imposed system of symbols (letters and numbers). It is time to return to and incorporate our earliest, natural system of expression to enhance our effectiveness and improve our well-being. Science has proven that Doodling can:
- Reduce stress
- Enhance Focus and Perspective
- Increase Muscle Memory
- Develop Visual Vocabulary
- Enjoy Creativity and Confidence
- Stimulate thinking
- Improve Problem-solving
- Train your Brain
Featured Courses for creativity
This is a sampling of courses. If there is something you would like to learn or do and it is not listed here, please reach out. I am happy to entertain requests. I will create a doodling experience for your group that fits your group’s interest.
Visual Vocabulary
If you can draw lines, you can doodle. Repeated lines create patterns. Combined lines create objects. This guided course will give you confidence in your ability to doodle a wide range of objects (and metaphors) that can help you express your thoughts, ideas, and emotions.
Doodle Note-Taking
Use the same basic lines that are used in patterns and develop a library of icons to help your notes come alive. Doodling while listening is proven to enhance retention. Taking Doodled notes is sure to improve your focus, memory, and application of what you take away from your courses.
Intro to iPad Procreate

NoneDuring a particularly stressful time in my life, I turned to Doodling to help keep me present and calm. It was a great tool to process thoughts while creating gifts. Over a decade later, I am still doodling and loving every minute I get to do it! Doodling is a daily practice for me as a means to think, solve, process, and express. And when I’m lucky, I get to doodle for and with others!
With a background in education and counseling, I find that Doodling is a powerful tool that can strengthen your mind, nurture your heart, and boost your creativity. Doodling bridges gaps and opens doors for processing and sharing. I can’t wait to doodle with you so you can enjoy this easily accessible form of self-care and thinking as well.

What my students say
"I enjoy doodling because Miss D. always makes learning to draw fun and I have learned a lot about drawing. I would definitely suggest it to someone else."
